EDIT: 5 months later and I still love these! They are still as comfortable as the day I bought them. They have held up great over time! These are incredible, I absolutely love them. They fit great and my feet feel great in them! I can walk for hours in these and have no pain, which is a huge deal to me. At first I was a little turned off by the bright blue tab and shoe laces (I am too practical for bright colors because they don't match everything) but when I wear pants (not skinny jeans) the bottoms of the pants cover those up anyway so I only see grey. When you tighten down the shoe laces some of the fabric bulges out the side and it looks a little funny. But in all reality unless you are specifically looking for it you wouldn't notice so much. The color is great because it doesn't show dirt as much. Vionic are the only shoes I can wear that don't hurt my feet and I have many pairs (slippers, flip flops, boots, now these). It's an incredible brand that makes great shoes. I have plantar fasciitis, extremely high arches, and back issues (I know, I am falling apart) and these shoes not only help my feet issues but my back as well. I highly recommend these shoes and Vionic as a brand.I am new to any type of orthotic shoes. After having my little boy I developed plantar fasciitis and my feet have been killing me. I have been hunting shoes that didn’t make me look like an old woman like I feel most othrotic shoes do. As far as the style, color, comfort they are perfect. The look very much like normal tennis shoes. The sizing however is really weird in this particular shoe. I ordered a size 8 and they were so big they looked like clown shoes. Reordered a size 7.5 and they were way too small. I usually wear a size 8. Had to send them both back because neither fit properly.I like these shoes a lot. I was looking for a shoe that had removable inserts so that I could put my custom inserts in. These allow me to do that. The tongue of the shoe is a little long and pushes into my shin. It's not made of fabric; it's made of some sort of molded material and that's why I can feel it. It's no big deal; I just roll it back on itself. Truly a minor thing, just never had that before, and I only mention in case my solution for it helps someone else. Also regarding these shoes, I read a study online (and who knows if it was an accurate study) that said your feet send signals to your knees when walking and that walking shoes with a thinner, flexible sole could do send signals to your knees better than some of the walking shoes that had a lot of padding on the bottom. I have good knees but my mom doesn't and I was doing research to find shoes for her and then decided to get them for myself, too. So I looked for a shoe with a flexible, thinner than normal sole and chose these. I was worried that I would miss the padding, but I don't.I have very painful feet. I have plantar faciatus and bone spurs in both feet. I am a server and I am on my feet for many hours at a time. I have worn what I thought were good shoes until I purchased a pair of vionics, recommended by my foot Dr. I have this pair and I am getting ready to purchase the sierra. You're not suppose to wear ortho. Shoes for a long stretch when wearing for the first time, but I was in so much pain at work I didn't care. I wore my shoes for a straight non stop shift of 9 hours, by the end of the night I noticed some changes but what I noticed the most was so much less pain in my feet! They are bit wide on my feet but it gives my toes some room as well. I recommend these shoes to all my co workers and any one who wants to listen to me! If you have painful feet don't hesitate go to a store and try these for yourself!!This is my first pair of bionic shoes and I am so happy I ordered them. I wear a 9.5 but I found the 10 fit perfectly. I also have wide feet and didn't need to order a wide size, the 10 regular was a great fit. I have plantar faccitis and I have tried so many athletic shoes to help with the pain. I use the elliptical and treadmill at my gym and my feet always hurt. I had no heel pain with these. I did find that the ball of my feet hurt a little bit after about 30 minutes of working out but not as unbearable as the heel pain I usually suffer from. I think with a small gel insert for the toe area will take care of that. Or maybe I just need to get use to the proper alignment from the shoes and break them in a little. I will update after a few more workouts. I recommend ordering half size up. These are also much more stylish than some of the other vionic shoes. I am very happy with my purchase!I am a huge fan of Vionic shoes, and found they are mostly perfect for me. This is my second pair of this shoe! It did run a touch small, especially with socks, an my toe almost reaches the end of the size 6.5 I usually order.....but I am going to wear it thru the Fall w/o socks and they will be OK. Also, as others have mentioned, the tongue is a bit stiff.....but what I did was simply complete the lacing just below the tongue and let the tongue area have more easement. My foot feels just fine and well supported with this arrangement....Problem solved! And, BTW, the Periwinkle/Hot Pink color combo is Yummy!I love my sneakers by Vionic. Currently I am suffering from plantar fasciitis with significant heel pain and these sneakers do feel much better than my other pair. I purchased one size larger (like I always do in sneakers) and they fit great! I also have wide feet and feel like I have plenty of space without purchasing a wide width. I did build up my time wearing them, as suggested, which was not a big deal. One weird complaint - I have to really tie them tight or they come untied rather easily - but not a big deal. Already have received loads of compliments on the color and look of the sneaker. I am already thinking of buying some casual Vionic shoes. Big thumbs up!!Item as expected and arrived promptlyok however the tongue part of trainer is most uncomfortable and stiff not what you would expect from this company. DANKE sehr!
