Finally! I have been looking high and low for a pair of casual slip-on sneaker shoes, to no avail, that is until now. These shoes check off every item on my wish list: 1. able to easily slip on my high in-stepped feet, 2. breathable canvas or perfed suede, 3. NO felt on the bottom sole, 4. removable insole. Thank you Dansko for delivering perfection. And I don't think I will need to replace these insoles, which appear to provide adequate cushioning and arch support. They feel and look great! awesome.I really like this shoe. To avoid your heel slipping, order a size smaller than you normally wear in Dansko.I couldn't be any more enamored with these shoes if they spontaneously morphed into John Krasinski. (Note: am watching in case.) My feet are wide - usual size is 7.5 (38) but I believed other reviews and ordered a 7 (37). Fits PERFECTLY and oh, so comfy with plenty of room for wide feet while looking chic. There is great arch support and a hidden wedge to give you a lift (important if you stumble upon John Krasinski as he is tall). Also, perforations let your feet breathe which is a real bonus. I have several Dansko sandals that are also super comfy and all are well made shoes that have held up for years. Highly recommend!This shoe fits well, and seems true to size. They fit like the clogs, the heel slips when you walk. The heel slip isn't uncomfortable, and they are way more stable than the clogs. Good arch support, not very cushy but comfortable enough.I thought they looked great & felt great. I was very disappointed that they were too big & I had to send them back.I am a very consistent US size 10 and EU size 41, I have other Dansko shoes in size 41, but the 41 of these were too large and kept slipping off my heel. I returned them and got the 40 and they fit much better, snug so they don't slip off my heel when I walk, but not at all too small or narrow in the toe. Still deciding if I will keep them, but I'd recommend sizing down a size with these especially if you think you'll be wearing them without socks. Otherwise quality is as I'd expect for Dankso which is good.Narrow. Stiff heel area.So cute! This will be a great summer shoe. Unfortunately, I followed the reviews that said to size down, instead of following my gut which said order your usual Dansko size. Nope! Although the fit through the top and heel is nice, they are simply too short. So that “runs large” advice did not hold true for me. I am returning for my usual size. I hope for a better outcome. I am lazy about returns, so am disappointed that I have to take that extra step.
