I was looking for a pair of active shoes, but I don't really like to wear running shoes or cross training shoes because I feel like they can look too sporty when I don't mean to be. I'm just being active -- moving a lot more than usual, walking the dogs, wearing more casual gear ... These are perfect for being active and I thought they had a style that fit me and could pop my casual active wear, so I don't just look sloppy.When I first put them on, I was a little bit concerned over the fit because they seemed a little fitted for a size 6. I could've gone with a 6.5 but if I had done that I'm pretty sure that I would have had to wear socks with them always. With these size 6, I can wear think socks with them or go without and they've loosened up a bit after wearing. Now, they are just fine for my needs. As for the length, they are a very true 6.If you're like me, between a 5.5 and 6, but tend more toward the 6, these will fit you like a glove. I wouldn't buy these for a running shoe. They aren't supportive enough. Maybe okay for a quick jog, but I doubt they'd last very long for that need.Over all, very comfortable, great for casual activities.
